ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION CRITERIA :
Students seeking admission into Nursery, Lower KG, Upper KG will be assessed in a verbal and interactive session by the concerned teacher followed by a personal interaction with the Principal along with the parents.
However, students seeking admission into Grade I to Grade X are to appear for a written entrance examination conducted by the school for the subjects English, Mathematics, Science and Hindi on the exit level of the previous class followed by a personal interaction with the Principal along with parents.
COMPLETING THE APPLICATION FORM :
Fill in the Application Form for the class in which admission is sought (meeting the eligibility criterion for admission into the classes are mandatory)
Duly filled in application form is to be submitted to the office of the school along with the following documents:
- Birth Certificate (Photocopy)
- School leaving Certificate (TC Original)
- Aadhaar Card of Student and Parents (Photocopy)
- 4 colour passport size photographs of the student with name of the student written behind each (size 3.5 cm x 4.5cm).
- 2 colour passport size photographs of both parents with name & relationship written behind each (size 3.5 cm x 4.5cm).
- Proof of address of parents
- Medical Emergency form (attached in the form)
- Parents undertaking form (attached in the form)
- Transportation Form (as applicable)
- Caste Certificate ( if any)
- Application cum registration fee of Rs. 5000/- by cash/Online Payment
Important :
- Incomplete application form will not be accepted.
- All supporting documents mentioned above are to be submitted.
- Submission of Application Form does not qualify a candidate to appear for the selection process or admission to any classes.
ADMISSION FAQ’S :
1. What should be the minimum age for a student to be admitted in Nursery in DPWIS?
Any child above the age of two and a half years is eligible to be admitted in Nursery.
2. What is the admission procedure?
After procuring the admission form, the duly filled form is to be submitted for registration in Admission office. 15. What is refund policy?
A. Refund for newly admitted students :
- For candidates withdrawing their admission against their seats before the commencement of the Academic Session or without attending the classes precedure is as follows:
In case, of the child leaving immediately without attending any class, or before the commencement of the Academic Session: entire amount will be returned, i.e. Development Fee, Caution Deposit, Imprest Money, Activity Fee, Tuition Fee, Miscellaneous fee. The Enrolment fees will not be refunded in any case. For candidates withdrawing the seat after the commencement of the Academic Session:
A Candidate, who has taken admission by depositing the initial payment along with the Annual fee but withdraws after attending between one day to one month of admission, is entitled to refund of Caution Deposit, Imprest Money, Tuition Fee(after deduction of one month’s tuition fee), Miscellaneous fee. However, Enrollment fees, Development fees and Activity fees will be not be refunded.
- For candidates withdrawing the seat after one month commencement or from the date of admission:
In case, of the candidate leaves after one month of admission, three months’ Tuition fees for the quarter is not refunded.
He/she is entitled to refund of Caution Deposit, Imprest Money and proportionate deduction of tuition fee, where applicable. However, Enrolment fees, Development fees, Miscellaneous fee and Activity fees will be not be refunded.
B. Refund for existing/expelled students :
- For existing students withdrawing from school
In case, of the child leaving after one month of admission, three months’ notice has to be served to the school or deduction of three month’s Tuition fees.
A student, who withdraws without completing the course of study, is entitled to refund of Caution Money only, subject to clearance of No-Dues certificate, available with Academics Section/Accounts office.
- For existing students expelled from Hostel/School
A student who is expelled by the management/ concerned authority from either hostel or School, due to involvement in any untoward incident, is not entitled to any refund of fee (hostel, tuition, etc.) except the Caution Money and Imprest Money and proportionate deduction of tuition fee, where applicable subject to clearance of No-Dues certificate, available with Academics Section/Accounts office.
However, Enrollment fees, Development fees, Miscellaneous fee and Activity fees will be not be refunded.
C. Refund for Transport :
- Transportation Facility when applied /availed shall be on yearly basis.
- If any student wishes to withdraw from availing the transportation facility during any part of the year, he/she has to apply for withdrawal has to give three months’ notice of the school. He/she will be liable to pay/refund of transportation fee. This will be subject to getting the No-Dues certificate cleared, available with Transport department /Accounts office.
Note:
- The DPWIS Refund Policy, 2024-25, overwrites all the existing Refund Policies under Delhi Public World International School (DPWIS). Any refund matter/case under DPWIS will be dealt with, as per Refund Policy, 2024-25.
- All application for refund of Caution Money should reach the School office within a period of one (01) year from the date of leaving the school, failing which the amount will be transferred to Alumni fund/School Development Fund.
- The Competent Authorities reserves the right to modify/change the policy at any point of time or take decisions in extraordinary cases.
16. How can I visit the school?
